GENERAL QUALITY
REQUIREMENTS
Since the 1960’s Kato-Entex have held recognised quality
accreditations, initially in the form of Ministry of Defence
Standard approvals, which the company holds to this day. But
later with the adoption of BS 5750, which was more general
manufacturing orientated when it first originated in the late
1970’s and which migrated to the International Standard of ISO
9000.
At Kato-Entex we believe that quality assurance for our
customers is paramount. We take every effort to meet customer
demands on quality and have a fully documented management system
in place to ensure that this is done. The least a customer can
expect is that any batch of parts he has ordered will have been
subjected to first off and final inspection prior to despatch.
We currently hold third party accreditation to ISO 9001:2000 for
our general business, sampling is carried out in accordance with
BS 6001 and for many jobs we operate varying degrees of
statistical process control depending on the spring type, the
volume and the specification requirements.
